Pregnancy and Birthing Options in Bundaberg

prenatal massageFor women in the Bundaberg area there are not many options for birthing and pregnancy support. Or are there?

Join Klare Craven-Hughes from Embrace Midwifery, Alecia Grey from Enchanted Birth, Leanne Toy from Bundaberg Yoga and Tania Dickie from Nurture Acupuncture as they share their understanding of how they support women in the Bundaberg area to have their best possible birth.

Our team at Family Chiropractic are thrilled to be offering this talk for Family Chiropractic’s Healthy Living Series.

Embrace Midwifery

Embrace midwiferyKlare Craven-Hughes is Bundaberg’s only private midwife. Embrace Midwifery was born in January 2012 and aims to offer all women the chance to experience a safe and emotionally satisfying pregnancy and birth.

Klare describes Embrace Midwifery on her website saying it “..is the first and currently the only, accredited Private Midwifery Practice servicing Bundaberg and the surrounding areas. We create tailor-made care programmes for each expectant mother in order to address your individual needs, hopes and desires. This ensures that your journey through pregnancy and childbirth is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We offer a complete midwifery continuity of care model that ensures each of your antenatal and postnatal appointments, as well as your birth, are hosted by the same Midwife. This model allows you and your family to build a relationship with your midwife during the antenatal period and thus facilitates a more calm and relaxed birthing experience where you feel empowered and confident in the choices you have made”.

Nurture Acupuncture Bundaberg

Nurture AcupunctureTania Dickie is an acupuncturist with a passion for women’s health. Tania’s skills allowed the labouring mother to move through each stage of the labour without any pain medication. Tania will be sharing some of her key methods for natural pain relief during labour in the talk on Wednesday.
